Come parte di una missione più ampia per la Regione Umbria, il famoso fotografo Steve McCurry si fermerà un giorno a fotografare l’ Isola Maggiore, dall’alba al tramonto, il venerdì 29 giugno 2012.

Una delle fotografie più conosciute di questo artista è « Ragazza afgana ».

Questa fotografia è stata scattata nel 1984 in un campo di profughi in Pakistan.

Nel giugno del 1985, ha fatto la copertina del National Geographic

Essere vista dagli occhi di un fotografo internazionale di talento è un onore e una fortuna per l’Isola Maggiore .

As part of a broader mission for the Umbrian Region, the famous american photographer Steve McCurry will spend a day to photograph the Isola Maggiore, from dawn to twilight, Friday, June 29, 2012.

.

One of the best-known works of this artist is « the little Afghan ».

This photography was taken in 1984 in a refugee camp in Pakistan.

In June 1985, she made the cover of the National Geographic.

It is both an honour and a chance for the Isola Maggiore to be represented from the eyes of an international photographer of such talent.
